Upside down.
For the deck, upside down, fillets and glass, the whole thing, plus an extra 3 sheets of glass between the cockpit and rear hatch, where extra strength is needed.
This Shearwater 16 model was purchased from Chesapeake Light Craft and is a 'stitch and glue' type model. There is also a hybrid version of this hull, which is a stitch and glue bottom with a strip built deck. I think the strip built decks look much nicer and are customizable, making your own boat more unique with color and pattern but for the first build I decided to stick to stitch and glue.
My build is not finished yet, so that picture for the front page will have to wait.....
......well maybe not. It looks like the new posts on the blogs go up top, perhaps for the best, the latest posts and pictures up top, in case you are following the build from the beginning.
